The Floodplain by Design Lunch and Learn series is excited to host an upcoming conversation on trust in natural resource management. Please join us on Thursday, September 1st from 12pm - 1pm for our next Floodplains by Design Lunch & Learn, where we'll be joined by Dr. Marc J. Stern to explore the role trust plays in integrated floodplain management. Dr. Stern, is a social scientist at Virginia Tech whose research focuses on trust in natural resource management. Dr. Stern will be joined by Fred Likkel who brings expertise in rural communities, agriculture and communications. Fred is an active and formative leader in the local integrated floodplain work in the Nooksack watershed.
