EPA National Estuary Funding (NEP) for Puget Sound Recovery
Department of Ecology 6PPD Funding
Funding available for 6PPD Stormwater Research: Ecology's 6PPD Team anticipates receiving $2.9 million for new 6PPD stormwater management research. This funding will support 2 years of research from July 2025 - June 2027. Qualifying funding recipients include Tribal Nations and public organizations as defined by RCW 39.34.020. Though there is no deadline for proposals, pitches received between April - June 2025 and projects led by or in collaboration with Tribal Nations will be prioritized for funding.
Shellfish SIL Onsite Sewage System Management in Puget Sound Watersheds
The Shellfish SIL grant program has $500,000 available to support onsite sewage system (OSS) management in Puget Sound watersheds impacting shellfish growing area harvest. Eligible applicants include local governments, non-profit organizations, state agencies, tribes, tribal consortia, institutions of higher learning, and special purpose districts. The project duration will be 1- 2 years (ending in November 2027).
