How Urban Forests Sustain Us

Jefferson County Master Gardener Program is proud to host Dr Kathleen Wolfe, University of Washington Professor at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Port Townsend. She will discuss the decades of research show urban trees and access to nature lower risks for major diseases, strengthen immune and family well‑being, improve birth outcomes, and expand opportunities for healthy activity. Urban trees and green spaces are powerful public‑health assets.
