The Port Townsend Marine Science Center's Aquarium is home to pinto abalone and giant Pacific octopus. Both of these mollusk species are important to PTMSC's mission of marine conservation, but in very different ways. What do these species and projects have in common? What sets them apart?
Presenter: PTMSC's Aquarium Curator, Ali Redman, studied marine conservation at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD. She has been raising octopus and abalone at PTMSC since 2016.
