Learn more about the birds we share the Salish Sea with through art and birding with Port Townsend Marine Science Center!

Join us on Saturday January 10th from 10 AM-12 PM in the PTMSC Aquarium classroom (532 Battery Way in Fort Worden State Park). See some of our museum bird specimens that are not on display to the public, and practice scientific illustration as a group – no art skills required!

Afterwards, we will be birding on the pier with a chance to practice some nature journaling. Birders (and artists!) of all skill levels are welcome. Feel free to bring your own preferred art supplies/binoculars/scopes. Art supplies and binoculars provided.
